Chaga Extract — concentrated birch mushroom for immunity
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a parasitic fungus that grows on birch trees in the Siberian taiga, rich in polysaccharides, melanins and triterpenes. Provides immune-stimulating, antioxidant and adaptogenic effects. Hand-harvested and processed by gentle water extraction.
What is chaga and who needs it
A birch mushroom with a millennium of use in folk medicine — now available as a standardised extract with a documented bioactive profile.
Chaga is the sterile mycelial form of Inonotus obliquus, which grows on birch trees in northern forests. Externally it appears as a black outgrowth; inside — dense, brown tissue. In the folk medicine of Siberia and Scandinavia, chaga infusions were used against infections, inflammation and as a general tonic.
Key bioactive compounds: polysaccharides (β-glucans) — activate innate immunity; melanin pigment complex — a potent antioxidant; triterpenes (betulin, betulinic acid) — anti-inflammatory agents with antitumour potential in in-vitro studies.
Our extract is produced by aqueous extraction at a controlled low temperature, preserving the native polysaccharide structure and the full spectrum of bioactive compounds.
Who benefits most
Key properties
Immune stimulation
β-Glucans from chaga activate macrophages, NK cells and dendritic cells. Strengthen the innate immune response without excessive stimulation.
Antioxidant protection
The melanin complex shows high radical-scavenging activity by DPPH assay — comparable to ascorbic acid. Neutralises free radicals and reduces oxidative stress.
Anti-inflammatory
Triterpenes (betulin, betulinic acid) suppress pro-inflammatory cytokines. Particularly relevant for chronic, low-grade inflammation states.
Adaptogenic effect
Helps the body cope better with physical and psycho-emotional stress. Supports energy balance and resilience during demanding periods.

How to take
Chaga extract is taken in courses — dosage schedule and duration are determined individually.
Scientific evidence
Chaga has been actively studied since the 2000s — with hundreds of publications on its immune-stimulating and antioxidant properties.

«I take chaga in courses every autumn. Last winter felt calmer for me personally — fewer days stuck at home with colds. The consultant explained everything clearly.»
